Western Downs Regional Council town entry signs

$0.00
The Western Downs Regional Council stretches across a vast area in central-south Queensland encompassing an array of towns, villages and tiny localities.

Council was looking for a way to acknowledge each settlement and decided to mark the entries to each with a high-quality sign on the major roads entering town.

Danthonia Designs was selected to work with Council to develop design concepts for the signs. The artworks were developed by Council with the input of local communities. The graphic symbol for each town endeavours to capture its unique identity.

Many of the signs are frangible, utilising BreakSafe hardware to meet state road safety requirements.
