St Michaels Catholic Primary School Mittagong

$0.00
St Michaels School in Mittagong is proud of their association with one of our most famous and well-loved Australians. The school was founded in 1891 by the Sisters of St Joseph, which was St Mary Mackillop’s order.

When the school approached Danthonia for a new entry sign, they commissioned a larger-than-life artwork of St Mary Mackillop as the main feature. Danthonia artists painstakingly recreated the famous nun’s face from a well-known photograph.

The sign and artwork are protected by a permanent, graffiti-resistant coating to keep them from deteriorating.
