Charters Towers Regional Council entry signs
Charters Towers Regional Council recently approached Danthonia to develop a system of distinctive regional and town entry signs to brand its boundaries and towns. The design team took Council’s brief of “blend a contemporary look with our heritage” and developed a memorable concept featuring a subtle watermark of a wallaby and native grass. A curved, symmetrical top frames Council’s logo, adding the heritage touch, while the more contemporary “wave” finishes off the design below, with a distinct colour for each town.
Danthonia rolled out all of the signs complete with our BreakSafe frangible hardware, making them safe to be installed in the clear zone of the QLD’s highways.
